Hello. I am looking for any information about men who were in Rogers Rangers, supposedly my ggg grandfather was a member of the Rogers Rangers (possibly a ferrier???) with a last name of Kinney. Our family's story goes that his superior got a local indian woman pregnant and paid my ggg grandfather $100 to marry the woman to hush up what he had done, he did however I do not know his first name or her name and would be very interested in finding out more or if there is any accuracy to this story. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
