Greetings Dorothy,
In ref. to your question pertaining to reenactments at or near Ft.Wm. Henry.
on June 29th to 30th. 2002 there will be a rather large Reenactment at Fort Ticonderoga N.Y. My Company will be there Fighting for King and Country, as well as those "Nasty Frenchmen" who will fighting for their King and Country.
At this time, there is some talk of Reenacting the Siege of Ft.Wm.Henry in the future. I do beleive this may happen next year or in 2004. But I'm not sure of this, as it is still in the "talking Stage".
So If you can get to Ft.Ticonderoga in June, look me up in the British Camp, just ask for Capt. Downey of the New Yorkers, and someone will point you to my Tent. Then I'll introduce you to some of the units that portray the Units that were at Ft. Wm.Henry.
Nice to hear back from you.
Jim Downey
