Greetings,
I am looking for information on my husbands gr gr grandparents, Calvin A. McCaskell and Nancy Jane Aaron McCaskell. I believe that he was born in Arkansas, but may have been born in Alabama. Out of 4 censuses, 2 say that he was born in Alabama and 2 say that he was born in Arkansas. I'm pretty sure that Nancy Jane was born in Alabama. I found a marriage record that says that they were married in Mt. Ida, Montgomery County, Arkansas on August 11, 1886. I believe that three of their children were born in Montgomery County, including my husbands great grandmother Laura Elizabeth McCaskell who was born in Sims along with her twin brother on July 16, 1890. Does anyone out there have any information on either the McCaskell/McCaskill family or the Aaron Family? Any help would be appreciated.
