You probably already know, he's buried in Princeton Methodist cemetary in Athens GA beside his wife. He served in the confederate army with his brother Alfred L. at Champions Hill. He also fought at Big Black Creek, Vicksburg, paroled, and captured in TN for fighting again. He got arrested in the 1870's in Maysville GA for distrubing an election because people were voting republican. Vickie and Deverne Aaron of Texas have a picture of their ancestor from Floyd Co. GA which would probably be the closest relative in time of a picture known to exist. Richard Aaron of St. Petersburg FL authored a book, Aarons of the South, which has some pictures. I believe all the Aarons of Franklin Co. GA between 1800 and 1820 were related, but finding out exactly how is a problem. I do believe William Aaron the revolutionary war veteran, died 1842?, was the uncle or older brother of Daniel Aaron of Madison county, died 1831?, because of the paragraph of the store owner Daniel Aaron of Athens GA in Georgia Historical and Biographical published in 1895, if my memory is correct.
