Hello, Gerald Klima. I am descended from a William Aaron who was born between 1756 and 1780. His actual birth year probably was 1779. He lived in the Barnwell district of South Carolina and died in 1806. He had a wife named Elizabeth, and one of his sons was John. I am a direct descendant of John, who was born in 1800. John died on 15 October 1862, possibly in Civil War action. By the way, John owned 81 slaves.

The William Aaron born in 1803 is almost certainly the brother of the John Aaron mentioned in the previous paragraph. How do I know this? One of his brothers was a William (named after their father).

How did you get the surname Klima?
