No, there many Aasen names in Norway. My grandmother Aasen family came from Tunnhovd, Numedal, Norway. They had two Aasen farms north & south. I work on Norsk farm names daily helping people find their relatives. There are about 150,000 farm names in Norway dating from year 1100 up.
