Found your ABAIR query, and I am directly related to a John ABARE(ABAIR), He was born abt 1810, in Canada. He md. Calista (PARKER) also of Canada. To this union:
Matilda ABARE, b. 1843 in Port Douglas, NY. She died 1893, and is buried in Keesevile, R.C. Cemetery.
Matilda (ABARE) md. Joseph (Henry) ROCK Sr. His name was changed from DESROCHERS/DUROCHER, the FRENCH surname for...ROCK. I traveled to Keesevile, NY in 1978. Have photos, obits. etc. to this union: Joseph (Henry)ROCK, Jr.; b: 1874, Bloomingdale, NY.
Joseph (Henry) Rock was my maternal grandmother's father. Please rely for I am anxious to share family info.
