My name is Charles W. Leazott and my father Charles Sr. who died in 1964 was the son of Lena Hebert. I recently obtained her death certificate and it indicates her father's name was Antoine Hebert born in Moores, NY. and her mother's name was Pauline Garand also born in Moores NY.
I also have my father's birth certificate from Nashua, NH. He was born in 1902 and it indicates his mother's name as Lena Leazotte with a maiden name of Lena Abare. Any connection?
I live in Massachusetts. My Grandmother Lena(Herbert,Abare)Leazott died in Easthampton, MA in 1964 five month's before her son, my father, Charles. She was born in 1882 and was married to Ben Leazotte. Somewhere along the line the "e" was dropped from Leazotte.
