Edward ABAIR b 1847 & Anna b 1852 census says both were born in Michigan but both of their parents were born in Canada their children: William b 1871 *Edward b May 1873 Francis b 1875 Mandi b 1877 Louise b Aug 1879 Edward ABAIR b May 1873 & Elizabeth (?Lypscomb) b Aug 1875 married about 1892 probably in Ira Township, Saint Clair, Michigan (Roman Catholic) census says both were born in Michigan but both of their parents were born in Michigan their children: *Lottie b January 1894 Frances b June 1896 Lawrence b 2 May 1898 d 25 April 1972 m 1927 to Mac C. Gladys b 1903 Rose b 1909 Edward b 15 May 1914 d September 1987 (this family lived in Ira Township, Saint Clair County, Michigan...then in Ecorse Township, Wayne, Michigan...and the villiage in Encorse Township became River Rouge City, Wayne, Michigan) Lottie ABAIR b January 1894, Ira Township, Saint Clair, Michigan she married on 28 August 1911, River Rouge, Wayne County, Michigan at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church; Rev. E. Glemet, Pastor; witnesses, Joseph Gognier & Emma Gognier to Philip McQUILLAN b 1887, County Monaghan, Ireland this couple lived in Bay City, Michigan (circa 1911 to 1912) and then in Lorian, Lorain County, Ohio (circa 1912 to 1913). Philip died on the 29 June 1913, while working as a pipe fitter for the American Shipbuilding Company. He drowned when he plunged from the Steamer Richard Trimble thatw as being built at the ship yards. Lottie filed suit, and settled with the shipbuilding company for around $3000.00 (in 1913). the couple had one child: Howard McQUILLAN b July 1912 (either born in Bay City, MI or Lorain, OH) The couple lived at The American House, 300 Colorado Avenue, in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio. After Philip's death she lived at 709 F Street, in Black River Township, Lorain County, Ohio. Where she went after there, I do not know. She may have remarried...but I do not know where...did she change her son's last name if she did. So i am looking for her, and her previously mentioned family.
