My Grandfather lived in Los Reyes, Michoacan, where my Father was born. My Grandfather was Jesus Abarca Higareda. He was Chief of Police in Los Reyes in the late 1930's or early 1940's. His Father was Alberto Abarca. That's all I know of my ancestors. Do either of those names come up in your genealogy? I thought one might since your family is also from Michoacan. Thank you for any help you might be able to provide.
