I was taking a break from work and decided to see what Google (a search engine) retuned on my last name, finding a Maria de Jesus Abarca, living in your state. (family is Elio, Jorge, and Minerva-plus the mother and father) I do not speak Spanish, although I often try to watch our Spanish television to try to understand-just for fun.
I am a management consultant working for a large international firm in living Cleveland Ohio. I live near my mother and father, Alfonso and Grace.
My grandmother is from Spain and moved to Hermosillo, then to Indiana (next to Ohio) then to Ohio. She opened the first Mexican restaurant in Cleveland
I have been to Mexico--I've worked in Tijuana (I had a law student who acted as an interpreter), and have been to Monterey, Hermosillo, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, and many small towns.
