Hi Looking for any information on the Abate Family from Paterson NJ. My great grandmother owned a silk mill during the 1920's I believe. She had 5 children: Emma, Jillian, Ben and I do not know the other two's names. My grandmother, Emma Abate was born in 1905. She was married to Lino Torre not sure when but it was during the 1930's. They had a son named, Francis Michael Lino Torre. I know my great grandmother lived till the age of 92 or 93 and ended up living in Los Angles Ca. Her daughter, Jillan, lived there as well. Her sons I believe still lived in NJ somewhere near Paterson and Hackensack NJ. I also know that our family had something to do with a winery in Pleasinton Ca. I believe the winery was called Villa Mundo. We lived out there for a while in 1969. I attended 1st grade there. There was another kid who lived there as well his name was Steven and he had a sister I believe her name was Joesphine. Somewhere in the past there is an Aunt Rose who lived in Brooklyn who also had something to do with the winery. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
