My Grandfather Micheal Angelo Abbate Was A native of Casteldaccia,Sicily. He is A direct Descendant of Vincenzo Ignazio Abbate (Marquis of Lungarini) The Marquis Abbate aquired a place called Castellazzo in 1737. He partitioned the Archbishop of Palermo to get permission to build The Church of Casteldaccia in 1738. Could you be A descendant also ? Pete
