My grandfather was Jack Abbate and he immigrated from Sicily also. He settled in Western New York, the Buffalo / Lockport area. He married Francis D'Agostino. Once here his name became changed to Abato. They had five children, Pauline, Grace, Tony, Anne and Carmen. Any of this sound familiar to anyone?? PJSS31@aol.com
