My grandfather was a Salvatore Abbate from Caltanisetta, Sicily who married my grandmother Francesca Grillo from Licata, Sicily. However they went back to Sicily. My father Vincenzo Abbate came over from Licata in 1948 when he married my mother. They lived in Brooklyn, NY. I am in the process of trying to find who there parents are?
