I am interested in the work of the sculptor, Paulo Abbate. He sculpted a bust of my great grandfather, Louis Bourgeois, who was an architect. They may have worked together. Abbate must have been working in New York or Chicago in the early 1900s. Was Abbate a member of the Bahai faith? Bourgeois was the architect of the Bahai Temple in Wilmette, IL, and perhaps Abbate worked on the architectural sculpting for the temple.
