My husband is named Robert Peter Abbate according to his birth certificate. We do not know if his parents were married as this is a copy of the original birth record which names no parents, just confirmation that he was born in the Bronx in 1941. His mother was Edna Lillian Reimer was baptized in St. Brendan's Church in Brooklyn so we assume she grew up there. There is a social security death record for a Peter Abbate who was born in 1915. He is no longer living. If you are a relative of this man, please contact us if you know if he had a child with Edna Reimer.
