As the son of Tom and Shirley Abbate I have information you maybe seeking. Tom was born in LA in 1912. He had a brother Sam (deceased) a brother Joe (deceased)a sister Francis ( Randizi and deceased) and a sister Julie (Shaw).
His first wife was Dora (recently deceased). They had two children; Nancy ( an original Mouseketeer)now Caldwell and widowed, and Tom Jr.
Tom married my mother,Shirley, and adopted myself and my brother David in the early 1960's. Residences were in Alhambra, Anaheim, Palm Springs, Avila Beach, San Jose, Yakima,WA, San Bernardino and Hemet.
My father died several years ago and my mother is now confined to a nursing home in Hemet.
