Just found your message. My great grandfather was named Elbert Nelson Abbey. Many years ago I had correspondence from another Abbey researcher and she had Nelson's in her line. We both wondered where it came from.
I am a cousin to Dave and in the process of reviewing my Abbey files and will be back in touch if I find anything.
Are there any others out there researching the Abbey line that have a Nelson. Let us hear from you if you do.
