10th cavlry, then an aviator and commander Scott Field 1918, suceeded Lt. Col Robins. Major Abbey was also officer in charge of flying at Chanute in 1917. My grandfather and I can not find where he is buried. Could be in Dahlgren W. Virginia. Any info on him I would sure appreciate. I do know he had remarried and his wifes name was Beaulah. During his time in the cavalry he was noted for rousting up pancho villas bandits along the arizona, mexico border when he was a Lt. with the tenth cav.
