John H. Lewis and wife Roda E. appear in the 1850 Tazewell County, Virginia census.
Roda Elizabeth (Lewis) was born in January, 1823 or 1825 in Virginia. She died in May, 1903 in Dallas, Texas. Daughter's death certificate Rhoda's surname as ABBIE. John and Roda were married prior to 1847, most likely in Virginia.
I would like to locate her family and where in Virginia she was born and married.
I'm interested to hear from anyone with an Abbie/Abbe/Abbey connection to southewestern Virginia in the early or mid 1800's, especially to Tazewell County.
