My dear Distant Cousin: Please accept my apology. Really I am so sorry. I could swear that I had sent the corrected information about your inmediate family, according with your refered information.
As I told you previously I can trace your Abreu ancestor back to ABT 1750. The Abreu surname was NOT present in our ancestors. Somehow, Don Domingo Delgado Delgado changed his surname to Domingo Abreu Delgado. Even though he was called "Domingo Delgado de Abreu, his parents were Fernando Delgado DE ABREU and Juliana Delgado y Garaboto. His granparents (father side) were Francisco Delgado and Catalina Bernal Morales. Apparently he was born in La Laguna, even though his Death Certificate indicates that he " was natural from Vilaflor".
" DELGADO DE ABREU, FERNANDO esposo de Juliana Delgado Garaboto, falleciĆ³ el 13 de abril del 1820 a la edad de 58 aƱos. Era natural de Vilaflor. SMA Def Libro # 2 Acta # 3". I have the name of the church where he was baptized in the near future, so we will get his birth certificate and find out his parents real name and hopefully, his grandparents name.
So, up to now, we are unable to connect the Abreu surname with any other Abreu family.
As matter of fact, I did not see the Abreu surname in the records at the Arcangel San Miguel Church in san Miguel de Abona, where he died. However there were some Abreu in La Gomera.
Please, check out the attachment included to correct or add any further information you can provide.
Best luck, your didtant cousin, Enrique
