I've been trying to link some loose ends of my Ace heritage.
My grandmother was Nellie Ace - born 1890 in Scranton, PA. She was the daughter of William T. Ace (1843, born probably in Monroe County, died 1927 in Scranton) and Susan Lake (1847, born in New Jersey, died 1905 in Scranton).

William T. Ace worked for the railroad in Monroe County, PA married Susan Lake in 1874 in Junction, Hunterdon County, NJ. They lived in Monroe County for a while (they appear on the 1880 Monroe County census) and later moved to Scranton.

Nellie Ace Webb (b. 1890) had several siblings - Ida Lake Ace (b. 1879 married David Harris), George Ace (1874), Charlotta ("Lottie" - 1878) - all resided in Scranton.

Grandma Nellie was very skilled in gardening. I know she had many relatives that were farmers and I remember visiting a family that owned a greenhouse north of Scranton - it could have been Wyoming or Susquehanna County(I wish I had paid better attention!). There is a Blackwell name in there somewhere - perhaps Newton-Ransom area of PA (Lackawanna county). I recall a lot of "Georges", "Moses", "Elmer", a maybe an "Ethel" and an "Elsie".

Does anyone have any more information?
