In the 1870 census I found the following Ackerman's
Jos H Ackerman age 56 wife: Mary M 54 both from Germany
living in NE ward of Pottsville, Schuylkill PA along
with three daughter Elizabeth 20, Mary 18, Ettie 16 and
a son John 10. Catherine Reinhardt who was 79 and I
believe was Mary M's mother. Catherine Grosch Reinhardt
was married to Adam Reinhardt in 1859 according to infor-
mation I obtained from St. John the Baptist's church.
Is anyone familiar with this Ackerman or Reinhardt
family? Catherine was my ggg grandmother.
