Angela, I am a friend of Sharon Wagner. She has spent the entire week in and around Lincoln and Elkart Ill. looking in cemeteries and trying to find her gr-gr- grandpa John Ackerson. He and his sister were the only ones of their family to survive the cholera outbreak which started when they brought a group of Irishmen in to build the railroad. They were infected with Cholera and it wiped out nearly the whole town. Rumor has it that there were mass burials and probably no records kept of the dead. I will give you Sharon's email address. wagnerws@essex1.com Ann
