Hi Larry,
I believe we communicated 20 years or so a go. We ended up in Sullivan Co., TN. I would think John's father was Abraham. This Caroline Co. family possibly had at least 4 sons. John, James, William and Ambrose. I think they all fought in the Rev War. Abraham was possibly a son or brother of William & Elizabeth Acree who were of the adjacent County of Hanover by 1731.
