Linda, Thank you for your replies. I know so little on the Acrey side and am not even sure of the spelling. I got the Acrey spelling from a letter that Franklin A Acrey wrote to Mary Clementine Acrey Sikes while he was at Chatanooga.Franklin never came back from the war as far as I can find out. I found John Washington Sr marriage to Polly Kimon on the internet. Mary and Her husband Joseph Sikes were married in Tn. then moved on to Arkansas then to Texas. Some of the Sikes stayed in Ark. So I have John Washington , Mary Clementine, and Franklin A as siblings.John Jr. must have stayed in Ga as his letter to Mary tells her to write to Livingston Ga. and tells about his crops.Anything you can dig up would be so appreciated. These children were born circa 1845 to 50
