Thank you so much for getting back with a reply. I am looking for the Dells in this family. I think they are related to my GG grandfather, Maxey M. Dell. This Mary Dell is the same age as the sister of my Maxey and the elder Mary Dell was my Maxey's mother. This is all conjecture on my part until I find the right line. Can you please email me directly at When I saw the name, I thought that it must be Acree not Acnee as some had said in the past. I was familiar with the Acree name. Maxey, his son Russell, and his daughter, Henrietta Dell Dupree are all buried in Rocky Creek cem in Ashford, AL. Maxey's daughter, Josephine Dell Dupree, my great grandmother is not buried there. I have been searching for her grave for a couple of years to no avail. Ashford is near Dothan, AL, in Houston county. Would love to hear from you again. Just seeking any info which would lead me in the right direction for finding my family. Do you happen to know who Mary Dell Acree's father was? This would be MOST helpful. I thank you again. DDW
