I don't have anything before Ambrose, War of 1812. In fact, that Ambrose is new to me. My great grandfather was Ambrose Acree, I assume a son of the Ambrose you speak of. He bought "Fleetwood" in King and Queen Co., which remains in our family. Ambrose and Carolyn Samuel had 10 children I believe, the last of which were twins one of whom, John Cabell Acree, was my grandfather (b. 1904, died 1985). He and Mary Evelyn Turpin had four children, one being my father John Cabell Acree, Jr.

If you have or obtain additional information about Ambrose, 1812 or before, I would be very interested in learning of it. Cabell Acree
