Edith, I don't know what the "M" stands for as Andrew's middle name, but I think the "A" in A. Linton Acree's name is for "Abner." I have tried to find out more information about Andrew's parents, grandparents, etc., but have been unsuccessful. As you could see from my previous post, Martha Irene Acree (Simmons)was my great grandmother, but I never knew her. She died in 1944. However, any info you have on the Acree family would be greatly appreciated and I am willing to share what I have. (I have a family picture of Andrew's family.) By the way, do you know where Andrew is buried? I know his wife, Louisa, is buried in Banks Co. at Harmony Baptist Church, and I have been there. There are 2 unmarked graves next to her, and we think that one of those is Andrew. Also, after Louisa died, Andrew remarried, but we can't find out who he married after her death. Regards, Ron
