My g-g- grandfather Denton Luther Acree had a son by his first wife named William. William was born around 1836 in Kentucky. The family is listed in 1850 Fentress County Tenn. By 1867 they had moved to Texas. I have not found any record of him in Texas. I never thought about him reamining in Tenn. Now I am wondering if he married and stayed there? I don't know if this helps or just causes more questions. Smiles
