Found an 1850 census with a Wm Acre living with the Elijah LARGEN family. Could this be Jasper's brother? Wm is 20 years old. I also saw that there was a Templeton(age 35) on the previous pages. I found a John Akrey living with a George Templeton(age 41) in Bradley Co. a few pages from Jasper (listed as Newton J I believe) Do you think this could have any significance? I have not looked yet at a map for the proximity of these two counties.
Let me know what you think. I am trying to found out like every one else who all the siblings are, etc. Jasper is my @nd Great Grandfather. I am the Granddaughter of Wm. Paul Acree and Opal M. Cooksey. They were divorced and I never knew Paul. He died before I was born and I know very little about the Acree side.
Happy Hunting!
