Not sure how that went, but I bet they were related to my husband's kin.
Wm. James Acree/Acrey and his wife Margaret Cleveland Cash Acree/Acrey were his great grandparents and they were from Banks County. They went to Dalton area prior to 1900. They are buried at a small cemetery near Chatsworth.
One of W. J. Acree/Acrey's connections was with the Caudell family. All of that bunch was intermarried. They were
also tight lipped and no one knows much about anything.
I know that Deemie who was the daughter of India Acree who was a child of W. J. Acree/Acrey ( she was married but to whom, ??? later Morgan) was actually a cousin to her husband, Hoyt Felker of Dalton through I think the Caudells.
I would suggest you try to see if it runs through the Cash family somehow.
