Hi Jo Ann:
It is such a pleasure to meet you. I remember Jack Knox Acree, Henry's son, when he was Superintendant of Georgia Public Schools in the 1970's when I won the Georgia State STAR Student award in 1976. He was a true gentleman. I also remember Henry and Retha's brother Bill Acree, whom we called Uncle Bill, who used to come and visit and tell me stories about our family. I remember his passing as a small child with great sadness. I would love to exchange information, and also have extensive information on our lines on ancestry. I have validated many of the ancient lines listed in Banks of Elbert, and have taken certain branches such as the Maxwells and the line of Mary Martin back to Virginia. Andy
