The William Acree that ended up moving to Ky in the very late 1790's to very early 1800's did NOT marry Pheriby Skinner. This William Acree married a Phoebe (LNU) most likely though was Acree as well as her married name.

Pheriby Skinner married the William Acree that passed away in 1796 in Wilkes County, Georgia. It is easy to know the difference because the one that moved to Georgia had a child by the name of Shearin.
