I have a Tamar Adsit b ca 1786 that married a Robert Campbell. She was a daughter of John and Tamar Holdridge Adsit. Tamar's brother Richard Adsit b.1788 Nassau, Sand Lake, Ny moved to Crawford County, Pa with his wife Deborah Bennett ca 1820 and died there in 1867. Tamar's father John on a visit to Crawford County to see his son died near Evansburg,(now Conneaut Lake) Pa and was the first person buried in the Adsit Cemetery.
