ADSIT (or Edget or Atsatt or var)

Need some clues as to origins of this family in America. Is there a spelling variation we are missing?
Have ATSATT as spelling in Martha's Vineyard and into Conway MA, (see my post on this variation) & "New England Marriages Prior to 1700" by Torrey does not have any listing by any variation.
This is pretty good indication that they came over no earlier than the 1700 era.
Can email direct to slw02@sprynet.com
