POCA - Benny Jack Agosti, 70, of Poca, W.Va., died April 13, 2004, at home.

Mr. Agosti was born in Danville, W.Va., to Frank and Leora Miller Agosti on May 30, 1933. He was a veteran of the Korean War, member of Cross Lanes First Church of the Nazarene, and a retired truck driver and construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Mary Ellen Agosti; children, Jack Agosti Jr. and wife, Vickie, of Sissonville, Mary and husband, Robert Carter Jr., Eddie Agosti and Michael Agosti, all of Poca; sister, Frances Showalter of Winfield, W.Va.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Gatens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Johnson and the Rev. Jim Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House, W.Va., with graveside military services by Alum Creek VFW Post 4768.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gatens Funeral Home, 147 Main St., Poca.
