Hunting Brother Ahrens

I am trying to find my brother.I have never met him he was taken from our home right before I was born. His nickname was BUCKY. We were living in Ellenville NY. I went to ask questions at the town village and I am sure I saw where his birthcertificate was sealed. It was the right year and the only one in the "A's" There was not a new birthcertificate on top of that one. I need to know what that means. Does it mean he is dead, not adopted, adoped out of county or state. I need help. I found my sister over the internet a couple of years ago and I have not lost faith. He would be about 60 or 61. Our mother was Blanche Smith Ahrens and our father was Horace Ahrens. They have both passed on and my sister want the final piece of the family puzzle. We think he would have been 4 when he was taken from the home. He should at least remember his nickname. I am told we look just alike. I would be glad to provide more info if you need it. Thanks, Kenneth Ahrens
