Posted by: Dave Gauntt (ID *****2647) Date: February 20, 2004 at 16:52:15   of 275 Aickin is an old spelling of this family group, recorded as far back as 1724 as I have found. Found in London (Westminster area)and in Ireland (Belfast area) from the 18th century and found in one other area of England. In particular, I am interested in the family of Thomas Graves Aickin - stained glass artisan of the mid-19th century in Westminster, father of Thomas Graves Aickin, Jr., who married Sarah Ann Leather in England before emmigrating to USA (Philadelphia, PA) in mid century.
