The TASSELL family live/lived in Douglas, across the channel/bay from Juneau. I know of them, but not much, except the father I heard was Italian. I remember the name Mary Ann Tassel, but what I heard about her is rather touchy. I would have to ask my uncle, sister and mother about the Tassell family. I remember that there might have been more then one child. Horse and Colt Islands are if I remember, are west of Juneau, near Admiralty Islands on Stephen Passage. For funeral records, check with the State Library in Juneau. A death certificate can be order for The State Bureau of Vital Statistics. Respond back for more information.
