Searching for Ness family - from Stranda/Andelsnes, Norway, then some children to US:
Ane Marie, born 1859, married Kjolen, stayed in Norway.
Ole Andrea, born 1861, went to US including Alaska gold rush.
Ellen Regine, born 1863, went to Minnesota and married Alfred Smith, died 1959.
Susanne, born 1866, went to Bergen.
Helene, born 1868, went to US.
Jorgen, born 1871, went to US including Alaska gold rush.
Karen Anna, born 1874, went to US.
Alfred Ness, born 1876, was an artist, went to US, including Alaska gold rush, married and settled in Minnesota, died 1945.
Kristine, born 1879, probably stayed in Norway.
