This is the info I've found out so far for my family tree.
I'm Barbara Montag/Schindel, born 11/12/1951 in St Cloud MN.
My mother was Eleanor Schindel, born 10/28/1921 in Watkins MN, died 2/12/1988 in St Cloud MN. She had 13 brothers and sisters.
Eleanor's mother was Barbara Schindele/Weidel, born 4/18/1876 in St Paul MN, died 9/13/1972 in St Cloud MN.
Eleanor's father was William Schindele, born 4/18/1876, died 4/25/1948 in Sauk Rapids MN.
Barbara Weidel's father was Wenzel Weidel and her mother was also named Barara Weidel.
My father was Ben Schindel, born 7/8/1901 in Hastings MN, died 1/3/1971 in St Cloud MN.
Ben's father was Leopold Schindel, born 8/1/1867 in Germany, died 11/9/1944 in Sauk Rapids/Mayhew Lake MN and was a retired farmer.
Ben's mother was Mary Schindel/Paulak, died around 1954 in Sauk Rapids MN.
Leopold's father was Sebastian Schindel.
I would love to find out more on my ancesters. I'd appreciate any information, suggestions.
