Edward Manning Gentry b. 17 Oct 1864 Maryville, Nodaway Co., MO came to OR via wagon train. While traveling to OR he met Minerva Ellen Moffitt whom he married 15 Jul 1891 Portland, Multnomah Co.,OR. Edward and Minerva had three children, one daughter died the same day she was born, one son named Lester Orville Gentry b. 1 Jan 1896 d. 30 Oct 1969 and a second daughter, Vivian Alta b. 17 Oct 1897 and d. 25 Jan 1901.

Edward was a wondering man, who took off for periods of time... but always came back... until he left for Alaska... and no one heard from him again... Did he make it to Alaska? What happened to him??? Would like it if someone could help me... Carol
