Searching for information on grandparents and families they came from. Eskimo, Ruth Morris married Jack Norris born in San Antonio, TX, reportedly had 'red hair' and may have been in the military there WWII.* My mother, Della Mae Norris was born in Nome, April 30, 1940-1945 (we think 1942). Jack and Ruth also had other children. I think Jack was in his twenties (possibly mid to late twenties) when Della was born.
Possibly Ruth Morris, Eskimo Grandmother survived an epidemic that may have impacted the family in her childhood such as TB.
* WWII Nome had an airfield that supported Radar and Communications.
