San Francisco to Skagway, 1897-8

I'm an author in need of an important piece of information, and I was hoping someone here could help.

Approximately how long was a steamboat voyage from San Francisco to Skagway (may be spelled Skaguay)/Dyea during 1897-8, the era of the Klondike gold rush?

If you have any information on this topic, I would so appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks in advance,
Gwyneth Atlee
