There were several "Burns" here in Skagway at the turn of the century:
Mr & Mrs Frank Burns, he was general agent for the Alaska Steamship Company arrived 1897 and left for Yukon in 1899, but showed up on the 1900 census with their daughter Bell.

Charles Burns a stockman came from Ireland and died 6.23.1916 here in Skagway.

Thomas Burns a longshoreman b. 1856 Ireland died 2.1.1914 in Skagway. He was here for the 1910 census

Archie Burns a packer who had lots of business ventures and was born in 1864. He moved to Juneau.
