Have we corresponded before? Fred Crocker obviously spent time with his family in Minnesota (probably during the winter months which was fairly common). I say this because he appears on several census records...as late as 1900 and 1905. In 1905, he is living with his wife Amanda 2 sons and a daughter. The Maxine (Crocker) Fleckenstein you found on the 1930 census was born in 1906. Since Fred was still married to Amanda in 1905....I'm assuming Amanda was also Maxine's mother. Maxine died very young...age 26 if I remember right. She drowned when their car ran off the road and landed in a river. I don't believe they ever had children. She & Sharon married in 1924 after an 11 day courtship, she was only 18. You can see what info I have on the Fleckensteins on my web page at:
