Thanks Hugh for some ideas. I will try the post at AKGENWEB also. I sent to National Archieves for a Ben Skeeters Army records that his mother signed up for benefits for that may fit my Benjamin ( same mothers name as my Benjamin). I hope it is the same person. Sent off a couple months ago. Heard they were slow.Expensive also. Took up all my genealogy cash for 6 months for it.
