Don't know if this is where you first read about it or not. I don't have any additional information about the story.
I'm very interested in Isom Akin, because I am fairly certain that he is my great-great-great grandfather, so if you know anything else about him or his son (John Taylor Akin), I'd be glad to hear from you (canei2004@yahoo.com)
